Located on over an acre of land with 100 feet of private, secluded beach, this one bedroom, one bathroom cottage is nestled among old growth magnolia and oak trees. Bring your dogs, pets are welcome! The shallow waters are perfect for kayaking, fishing, swimming, kite boarding, and more. 2 10’ foot sit on top kayaks are provided for your enjoyment to explore the sound, and a fire pit by the beach invites evening campfires and s’mores. Enjoy a picnic by the water, cook your fresh catch on the grill, or dine on the back deck while watching the sunset. A shed and carport on the property are available to store your gear. The Fishcamp is only 3 miles from Navarre bridge and the Gulf of Mexico, yet far away from the crowds. This unique cottage was built during War World II as a temporary officer’s quarters, moved to its current location after the war, then enlarged in 1953 and 1958 with concrete block and in the old Florida style. In 2016, it was completely and carefully renovated with modern conveniences while maintaining its classic charm, to include granite countertops, Internet enabled cable TV, and Wi-Fi. Use of Kayaks is free for guests and requires a signed waiver which is available at check-in.
