Our White River “Avondale House” is a two-story, 3 bedroom/2 bath home on the White River available for short-term rental. Property is easy to find but makes you feel like you are miles from civilization with its private setting and rustic feel. There is a fully-stocked kitchen with a farm sink, soapstone counter tops, and a 5 burner Jenn Air gas cooktop. The kitchen opens to an eating area and living room, complete with satellite TV. Bedroom one, located on the ground floor, has a double bed and TV/DVD combo. There is also a full bathroom with stand-up shower on the ground floor. Bedroom 2, located on the second floor, has a queen bed with a beautiful Pendleton wool blanket to keep you cozy. The Master Bedroom is also located on the second floor. There is a full bathroom on the second floor, convenient to both bedrooms, with a tub/shower combo. There is a small balcony off of the Master Bedroom that overlooks the river. The eating area downstairs opens up onto a lovely screened-in porch for morning coffee or an afternoon nap. There is a gas grill and additional seating on the lower open deck area as well as a fire pit with lawn chairs between the house and the river. An additional deck overlooks the river for fishing and relaxing. The house is well-equipped to relax in a remote setting, seeing that we also use it as a family getaway.
