Central location in the bustling south Fort Myers/Estero area close to all the main attractions of SWFL including the best beaches of SWFL, spring training stadiums, FGCU, Hertz arena, shopping, restaurants, and so much more!
The loft includes sleeping for up to 4 guests, full bathroom, Wifi (1200 mbps), kitchenette (microwave, fridge, toaster oven, small stovetop, coffee maker, electric kettle), dining area, Smart TV with Roku allowing you to login to your Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO accounts and watch many other channels (cable not provided but Peacock Premium is available with some live programming), outdoor seating under mature pine trees, and up to 2 parking spaces. We also supply coffee, tea, and light breakfast items (oatmeal, granola bars, etc.). You will have full access to use beach towels, shampoo/conditioner, iron/ironing board, clothing rack with hangers, hair dryer, an alarm clock, and a USB charging station during your stay. The loft is furnished with blackout curtains for your comfort. As the curtains work extremely well we supply small motion-sensor lights by both sets of stairs for your safety.
There is a large community pool 0.3 miles away called San Carlos Community Pool. It has lap swimming, a water slide, and umbrellas. $3 is the daily entry fee. Check ahead to make sure it will be open as a lot of swim classes are hosted there.
Guests must acknowledge stairs are required to enter/exit the loft as well as another small set of stairs to reach the kitchen/bathroom areas. Because of this, we do not recommend the loft for mobile infants and the space is not suitable for anyone with difficulty ascending or descending stairs. There are easily seen security cameras outdoors on the premises (no indoor cameras).

Note: While the loft is connected to the rest of the house, "Fernweh House" (see separate listing), there are no shared indoor areas. Your private entry door leads into a mudroom followed by stairs up into the loft above the garage. There are multiple doors between Fernweh Loft and Fernweh House which remain deadbolted on both sides for privacy. Multiple rooms serve as storage rooms for our cleaners and separate the two units. The Loft also has its own A/C unit.
We live a short drive away. Our property manager lives next door and can assist guests if needed. We are available via VRBO message (preferred), text, or phone call. You will receive a code prior to check-in to access your space which means you're free to check-in yourself ANY time after 4pm. No need to coordinate times with us for a late check-in. We highly recommend using a car to fully take advantage of this area.
