Welcome to our second home at the Indigo, the nicest condominium complex on the key. This condo is truly a one of a kind condo, as it is the nicest condo you can rent at the Indigo complex. Our condo is immaculately clean and it is NOT your typical rental unit! Our condo is a ONE OF A KIND ultra-luxurious 4 bedroom, 3 ½ bath condo located on the 5th floor of the most desirable tower of the affluent Indigo Resort in Perdido Key, Fl. This exclusive CORNER unit is inundated with natural sunlight from the extra windows and floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors that only a corner unit can provide. Our awe-inspiring second home features over 2,000 square foot of extravagance, all professionally decorated with custom art work, designer furnishings, travertine floors in the living area, kitchen and baths, granite counter-tops throughout and beautiful kitchen cabinetry.
The breathtaking and spectacular, un-obstructive views of the Gulf of Mexico awaits you on our over-sized balcony. The expansive floor to ceiling sliding glass doors opens up to the large balcony furnished with two lounge chairs and a pub table with four chairs. Savor your breakfast or sip your morning coffee all while being captivated by the playful dolphins swimming by or just take delight in the tranquility of the calming ocean waves.
You will enter our exquisite condo via your own private elevator foyer and once inside you will be mesmerized by the contemporary, soothing décor. The living area has ample seating with a leather couch with lounger section, two swivel chairs and another chair right in front of the TV all offering picturesque views of the magnificent Perdido Key beach (Perdido Key is one of the most desirable destinations on the Gulf coast). Watch your favorite TV shows on the jumbo flat screen TV equipped with a state of the art surround sound system.
Cooking is a breeze in the large chef’s kitchen fully appointed with high end stainless steel appliances, including a top of the line Kitchen Aide French door refrigerator, GE profile double wall convection oven, smooth top range, microwave and a stand-alone under the counter sonic/crushed ice maker. This ice maker is so convenient, as you can fill up your coolers each day. No more leaving the property to buy ice each day! Since this is our home too, the kitchen is stocked to host a crowd with all the bells and whistles such as a 12 cup Cuisinart coffee maker and a single serve Keurig coffee maker, waffle maker, griddle, electric skillet, blender, crock pots, ice cream maker and a large selection of pots, pans, bowls, and utensils. We even have an under the counter beverage refrigerator to stock all your extra drinks! No more crowded refrigerator! The beautiful mahogany kitchen table seats six with additional seating at the bar for two. Enjoy the sunlight streaming in the kitchen every morning from the large window above the sink. The views are extraordinary!
Want to grill outside? The Indigo condo complex hosts a fantastic outdoor grilling area with several charcoal grills and a green egg for your grilling pleasure. The grilling area is just down the elevator and directly below the condo.
The master suite is the perfect haven for relaxation and comfort offering a Tempur-Pedic king size mattress with luxurious bedding and linens. Watch TV from yet another large screen TV or simply listen to the waves crashing ashore from the sprawling floor-to-ceiling glass door that also opens up onto the large beach front balcony. The beach view from the large bedroom picture window is truly breathtaking and many nights the full moon shines brightly in the window serving as your night light!
The magnificent master bath is incredibly spacious boasting a large jetted garden tub, a separate, over-sized glass and travertine shower, double vanities (one has an attached makeup vanity) all appointed with granite counter-tops and travertine flooring throughout. No expense was spared on this exquisite master suite.
The second and third bedroom suites also offers Tempur-Pedic king mattresses all again appointed with lavish bedding and linens. Both rooms have flat screen TV’s and large windows for enjoying the panoramic views of Perdido Key and the Intracoastal canal. Each of these bedrooms also has a private attached full bath with a tub/shower combo and granite counter tops.
The fourth bedroom is a bunk room situated just off the kitchen (through a bi-folding door) offering a FULL bunk bed with a twin bed above and another set of twin bunk beds on the opposite side of the room. The bunk room can easily sleep 4 kids and the ½ bath is located just around the corner steps away. This room also boasts a large picture window for more Perdido Key views. Note the extra large flat screen TV, perfect for the kids to play games on!
All beds in this condo have new luxurious pillows as well. Four new pillows on all king beds and two new standard pillows on the full and twin beds. Each bedroom has not only lavish ceiling fans but personal fans for those who have to sleep with the noise of a fan nearby! We also have USB charging ports for your cell phones in each bedroom and in the living area, so just bring your Aux cord. Full size washer and dryer is located in the condo. In addition, we offer hairdryers in each bathroom. We also have 5-7 beach towels in the condo for your use. Only an owner would offer all these extras!
The Indigo resort features luxurious amenities, including a coded gate entry for guest security, a 6,000 gallon, zero entry resort-style tropical oasis pool and gazebo, over sized hot tub, a seasonally heated smaller pool, outdoor grills, lighted tennis courts/pickle ball courts, steam rooms, saunas, two fitness rooms, garage parking and interior elevators that open to your private foyer, which is characteristic of each Indigo unit! Our guests may also reserve the private 12 person movie theater with hundreds of DVD's to choose from (or bring your own) or watch sports channels! You will also have the convenience of a full size in-unit washer and dryer and a conveniently located trash chute right outside your back door. The Indigo also has 800 feet of private beach with boardwalk access. We feel The West tower is much quieter than the East tower that houses all the rental check-in’s in the lobby. The East tower also has more condos per floor so more people in that area in general. We love the peacefulness of being in the West tower and we think you will too!
Ranked by Conde’ Nast Traveler as one of the top five swimming beaches in the US, Perdido Key offers an abundance of recreation and activities, including fantastic restaurants, championship golf courses, deep sea and inshore fishing, hiking and bike paths, dolphin tours, snorkeling and other water sports as well as lovely shops and boutiques. The Pensacola Naval Air Station is a short 5 minute drive from Perdido Key, and perfect excursion for the entire family. This base is home to the United States Flight Demonstration Squadron, the Blue Angels! They will even buzz the beach! Enjoy the museum, the IMAX Theater or climb the steps of the Pensacola lighthouse on the base! The views are breathtaking! Orange Beach is just 10 min down the road, hosting tons of restaurants, shopping, a movie theater and a 10,000 seat outdoor amphitheater where some of the biggest names in music perform year round.
Why did we choose Perdido Key as our second home? First, we loved the Indigo condo complex with the magnificent amenities, secondly we loved the beautiful beaches here in Perdido Key and lastly, we loved that this area is not as crowded as Gulf Shores or Orange Beach. You can usually walk in to all the nearby restaurants with little or no wait even during peak season. Some of our favorite restaurants are just within a couple of miles or less of the condo. We love The Oyster House, Lillian’s Pizza, FloraBama Yacht Club, The Original Point, and Fisherman’s Corner. The JellyFish Bar and Restaurant, Paul's Pizza, and Hersheys Ice Cream Shoppe are all located right across the street from the condo, so just walk there. All other restaurants are located within a mile or two of the condo! The Publix and Wynn Dixie grocery stores are both located just 2 miles down the road! Our condo is our second home and not just a rental unit for us as we are there every month to check on things! It is truly a ONE OF A KIND condo jam-packed with all the loving care and extras that only the owners can provide. No hassle with picking up keys from the rental agencies here, as you will pick up your welcome pack with condo entry cards, parking passes and pool wrist bands directly in the lobby of the Indigo East tower located right there on the property. Feel free to bring your bikes, as there are numerous State/Federal parks located nearby to ride in.
Sorry we do not do winter (snowbird) monthly rentals as we are there for a week every month.
