Summary:
These apartments are part of a converted home turned into a quad-plex. Walk to Gourmet Center while staying in not one but two beautifully appointed units located in Old Dauphin Way Historic District of Mobile. Five minutes from downtown Mobile, with Dauphin Island just a 45-minute drive to the south, it's the ideal location for enjoying the sun and sand, boating, fishing, restaurants, and shopping before relaxing in the cool shade and evening air on the porch. We hope to host you!
The Space:
Guests will enter the building through the front door after parking behind the building. Once inside the front door of the building, you will have access to both upper-level apartments. Guests have noted that the stairs can be steep, so please keep that in mind.
Apartment 3 has two bedrooms, one with a King bed and a twin, and the second bedroom has a double bed. There is also a queen sofa bed and couch in the living room. There are two full bathrooms with showers, an updated kitchen, and a small dining table.
Apartment 4 has one bedroom with a king-size bed and a single. One full bathroom with a tub/shower combo, a newly updated full kitchen, a living room with a sleeper sofa, and a large flat-screen TV.
Note: Both apartments have washers and dryers. These are pet-friendly homes, and there is a $50 pet fee per pet. The porch and outdoor seating area is a shared space with other guests.
Guest Access:
Check-in is anytime after 4PM unless prior arrangements have been made with the host, and early check-in fee has been paid. Guests will park at the rear of the building, and walk around front to open the lockbox with their apartment number to enter the building. Once inside, guests will go to their unit # and enter the code given to them in check-in instructions.
The Neighborhood:
This apartment is located in the Old Dauphin Way Historic District of Mobile, AL, and provides easy access to all there is to see and do in Mobile.
Getting Around:
We provide private parking behind the building for guests to use, but there is Uber and Lyft readily available in and around Mobile for guests who choose not to drive.
Other Things to Note:
If you notify us of your intent to cancel prior to the lapse of the free cancellation period, we will return 97% of your payment. The other 3% will already have been collected by the credit card processing company, and we have no way to return that portion of the payment.
We require a signed rental agreement and for guest to be 25 years of age to book.
Guests will share the parking area and front porch seating area with other guests.
We are a pet friendly home. Pets must be crated when they are left unattended in the home. We do not allow pets on furniture or beds, and all waste must be cleaned up from the yard. All pets require a $50 non-refundable pet fee. If there is evidence of pet hair on the furniture, excess hair in the home, stains, or waste found in the yard or home, you will be charged the cost to clean this. In the event that a security deposit is collected, we will retain all or part of the security deposit to cover any costs associated with additional cleaning due to pets.
