Very quiet & private, yet only a short 20 minute walk to Main Street where you'll find the Culinary Institute of America, Model Bakery (Oprah’s favorite) & Giugni's Delicatessen (our family favorite).
Walk just over the bridge and you'll find at Gott's Roadside, Farmstead and Pizzeria Tra Vigna. A little further and you’ll arrive at Clif Family Winery / tasting room / general store.
In regards to fine-dining, take your pick from amazing restaurants such as Charter Oak, Brasswood, PRESS, Cook, Acacia House, Market & Goose & Gander.
Also nearby are picturesque resorts Meadowood, Auberge Du Soleil and Solage (all with Michelin-starred restaurants)
Calistoga awaits you just 15 minutes north where you can enjoy mud baths and spa treatments @ Indian Springs Resort. Also fine dining @ Sam’s, Evangeline and Calistoga Inn.
And 15 minutes south will take you to Rutherford + Yountville, where you can find The French Laundry, R&D Kitchen + Rutherford Grill (both Hillstones) Ad Hoc, Bistro Jeanty and Bouchon (also Michelin-starred)

Please note -- this is a house in the country, in the middle of vineyards. We are frequently visited by gophers, bluejays, bats, spiders, mice, frogs, possums, you name it! It is possible that you will encounter a rodent, spider web, mosquito, etc during your stay. Please be aware of this, and if that's an issue for you, perhaps think twice before booking! Thanks for your understanding.
Lastly, this is not a fancy house, but we think it’s cozy. The back bedrooms + baths have been recently renovated, while the rest of the house has original details & character. There are some interesting antiques sprinkled throughout the home. The photos from the listing are all recent. Complete renovation planned for winter 2022.
