Welcome to the Retreat on Florida Street!
We are located in Fleming Island, FL which is Southwest of Jacksonville and about 40 minutes from Jacksonville International Airport. This is a brand new construction - great for families or a small group of friends traveling together. Great open concept kitchen/dining/living area with sliding doors that open to the fenced back yard. The dining area features seating for all 6 guests and is just off of the kitchen. Unwind in the cozy living room at the end of your day of fun - and enjoy your favorite programs on the SMART TV. Don't forget to bring your login information for your Hulu, Netflix, or Amazon Prime Accounts or watch any of the FREE Apps available! There is a lot of shopping & restaurants nearby, we are just behind the famous Corky Bell's Restaurant. Doctor's Lake Marina is 10 minutes away.
The Owner's Suite features a King Size Bed and En-Suite Bathroom. We also have a Smart TV in the Owner's Suite. Both guest bedrooms have queen size beds and there is a shared bathroom just off the hallway. A cool feature are the bathroom mirrors - they have a touch light and defogger built in! Simply push the On/Off button for the light - or push the wavy lines to defog!
The backyard is quite large and fully fenced for your pup! We are pet friendly! Additional cleaning/pet hair removal fee required. Fee is per pet. Pets must be disclosed in advance. Max 2 dogs. Dogs must be 40 lbs or less. NO LARGE BREEDS. All dogs are to be treated with Advantage or similar topical flea and tick repellent three (3) days prior to arrival. Fleas and ticks are very rampant in this area and can cause harmful/fatal illness to humans and pets. All items above are the sole responsibility of the dog owner. Failure to disclose the pet in advance will result in a $500 fee.
There is some much to see and do in our surrounding area - whether you enjoy shopping or being on the water - great restaurants - golf - or even if you're here visiting family! You're also close enough to Jacksonville to take in a concert or sporting event! Some amenities may be nearby - additional fees may be required. Such as boat rental, golf, horseback riding, etc.
**Parties are strictly prohibited - as noted in the rental agreement. Penalties will be enforced. The property is monitored by Noise Aware as noted in the booking agreement.
ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE
Guest Arrival is anytime 4pm EST or after. If the property is approved for early arrival, you will receive a message letting you know you can arrive early and we will activate the door code. If you do not receive a message, then the arrival will remain at 4pm EST.
Guest Departure is anytime 10am EST or before. If you have not departed by this time and do not have written prior approval for a late departure, you will be assessed a $50 late departure fee for every 30 minute delay. The Cleaning Services we use schedule their teams for multiple cleans in advance and any unplanned delays create issues. With unscheduled/unapproved late departures, they are required to bring in additional team members to assist, which incurs a higher cost that must be charged. Any requests made for a late departure must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance of departure time and are subject to approval/availability.
