Summary: Disappointing and not worth the £260 we paid for 2 nights. The downstairs of the hotel is nice and well looked after and in a great location. The staff are friendly. The upstairs, however, is very different. We stayed in room 263, the carpet was very dirty, the bathroom cabinet is very old and has rusty keys hanging from it. I didnt want to use it. The bed is big and comfortable. Next morning we went for breakfast, it wasnt great, premier Inn or Travelodge are better with more choice. We came back to the room after being out all day to find that the cleaner had been in, all she had done was empty the bin and rinsed our used cups in the sink, they weren't clean. She had not replaced the milk we had used, the shower gel, given us a new toilet roll and there was no evidence of any cleaning being done. To top it all off she had left our room unlocked! On our last morning I had a shower, which after a few minutes it ran cold and didnt warm up again, i had to rinse myself in cold water. My husband couldn't have a shower. I did speak to the receptionist when we were checking out and she did apologise but unsure if the feedback will be passed in. Would not stay there again.
