Rustic Garden Cottage -Walkable Historic District. Full kitchen, light snacks provided, a private enclosed garden, and located in the beautiful historic Avondale neighborhood, on the banks of the St John's River and just outside of downtown Jacksonville, FL. Centrally located, it's a short walk to the Shops and Restaurants of Avondale.
The space
Rustic Garden Cottage with a queen Tempur-Pedic adjustable bed, and a pull-out sofa bed. The sofa bed is an upgraded memory foam mattress, that is surprisingly comfortable. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a full-size stove and refrigerator. Light snacks are provided. Coffee, Cream, Sugar, Microwave Popcorn, Muffin Mix, Chips, Trail Mix/Nuts, Cliff Bars, some sodas.
My husband and I both worked for the USDA Forest Service for a number of years, and the apt is an eclectic collection of our times spent outdoors.
Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, and a variety of toiletries are supplied.
Guest access
Full access to backyard garden. Feel free to open the french doors when the weather is nice and enjoy the butterfly and succulent garden. Take in your morning coffee under the pergola, or perhaps stay in for the evening and utilize the grill.
We have a washer-dryer in the main house, that you are more than welcome to use. Just message us to let us know.

We prefer no pets, however, service animals are welcome. Other pets will be considered based on the pet and situation.
