Located in the heart of wine country, farmland and orchards, the Shop is named for what it is --- an oversized workshop that we renovated with environmentally friendly practices into a luxurious country bungalo.
Located just across the road from historic Basel Cellars Estate, now known as Yellowhawk Resort, one of the top rated wineries in the area, and 5 minutes from over a dozen south side wineries; this spot is perfect for a tasting getaway. Forget traffic and the noise of the city, experience country life with finishes of luxury.

This stand-alone building with private entrance boasts 780 square feet of ADA accessible living space including a west facing living area, windows for days, and patio showcasing a view of the farmland and stunning sunsets. The Shop provides you with all you need to stay for the weekend, a week or even an extended stay. It comfortably accommodates 6 guests.
With an open floor plan living, dining and kitchen the Shop is perfect for relaxing, reading, watching tv and dining. The kitchen is fully stocked and ready to use with stainless appliances, gas range, apron front sink, beautiful quartz countertops, great wine and coffee.
The master bedroom includes a king bed with cozy linens and goose-down filled duvets. Store your bags on luggage racks, or stay for a while and utilize our beautiful dresser and closet, stocked with hangers.
The second bed is a pull out hide-a-bed in the living area. A full size, memory foam mattress awaits with linens to suit.
A spacious bathroom with fully tiled walk-in shower and oversized shower head is sure to recharge your batteries. Spa inspired linens, plush towels, robes and cozy slippers awaits.
One of our favorite parts of the Shop is the large private patio where you can connect with family and friends while sitting around the spacious outdoor table and BBQ on your own gas grill. A fire pit is available upon request. Even with the country setting, you are just 4 miles say from downtown.
Bikes, kayaks and paddle boards are available to rent downtown and we highly recommend you check out Outside Walla Walla’s website for bike and hiking trails close to town (outsidewallawalla.com).
Eco-sustainable Practices:
We built the shop with the future in mind. To start, we indtalled radient heat, concrete floors to maintain a comfortable temperature year round. The on-demand hot water heater is a dream come true and we bought all energy efficient appliances and lightbulbs. We offer toiletries such as shampoo, condition, and body wash - all are in glass continers that we re-fill to reduce plastic use. Reusable shopping totes and recycing is available on-site. Futher, we clean with eco-friendly, vinegar based products (vodka added for disinfectant), using re-usable cleaning cloths.
EV charging stations are within in just a few miles - Amavi and Caprio Cellars are both within 3 miles. Caprio offers free charging, as with free wine tasting and tapas!
