Beautiful home on main channel with amazing views. You can utilize paddle boards (4) kayaks (2), swim, enjoy the lily pad, fishing off the dock. There is also a fire pit outside to roast marshmallows and make s’mores as you watch the fireflies.
A gas grill is also provided with an outside dining area and large deck for sunning!
We have done extensive improvements on the deck and dock.
We are close to I-65 and 5 miles from public boat launch at Smith Lake Park, 11 miles to Trident Marina and Grill as well as Brother’s at Smith Lake. There is a gas station, grill, and convenience grocery within 5 miles, and Cullman shopping and dining is 14 miles away.
Guest have access to deck directly on the lakeside as well as the shared dock and grassy area in front of the house. There is a beautiful point on the bluff where you can look out on another part of the lake, and a fire pit and horseshoes. Some guests have used this point as a driving range! We would have never thought of that ourselves.
Other things to note
You will have a private entrance and there are no common doors to access either house. The dock is one slip, with two side with bumpers and cleats and a swim platform.
One room has 4 bunks suitable for children.
There is parking for at least 6 cars. Please let us know in advance if you need special accommodations.
There is a steep hill coming down to our property which may be a problem if you are towing something. We suggest putting your boat in the water before coming to the house.
