Immediate response from management on a little issue that came up but was a city situation and not the managers issue and problem. They were great in communicating and addressing the issue

Summary: The check in was a little frustrating but that was worked out by the manager and everything else was perfect! It’s an older building but in excellent condition. The room was large, clean, and comfortable. The pool was great!

Summary: It was a great place to stay, affordable with a good location. Room was super comfortable and the AC rocked, cooling the room as much as you liked and removed the humidity too. The room was super clean and recently remodeled. My only recommendation would be better signage and a mirror that’s also not in the bathroom. I’d go back there again for sure.

Location is awesome. Clean…. Just one problem. Roaches. I did stay but first day there were only two. Problems again second day. Should have left but after 3 more. Hope they have not gotten into our luggage. One other thing unacceptable behavior in the pool with guests. I brought to their attention and they did take care of it. It is on video . One other thing when I booked on Hotels . Com. All fees are included. They wanted to charge $10 per day. ?????????? Removed the fee after the cockroach problem. Sorry it didn’t go well. My only bad review on Hotels . Com. Wish they would have addressed this differently. Won’t be back. Ruined. Great weekend.

Summary: Did not care for the location of it be off the main path, but cleanliness and staff owners made up for it. Very accommodating. Older units but very clean. Close to the beach, withing walking distance. Pool was a little cooler for my liking, but i'm old. 😉. I would recommend. The price was more than fair.

Summary: No management after 5pm. Reservation was made by a 90 year old with no phone and made it difficult to communicate with the management by phone after 5 when we didn’t arrive until 8pm. We asked for assistance from a guest and they graciously helped us. Suite 1 is right by the front of a metal gate and rattled in the wind and when heavy trucks went by. The kitchen was a bonus but no where close to by groceries. The pool was amazing!

Summary: This is the second time I stayed at Surf and Sand Hotel. The location is good, check in easy, clean,bed is very comfortable. My only recommendation is to be careful with the liquid they are using to clean the floor; floors are very slippery , I was about to fall twice, which can be a problem

Summary: It’s not beachfront, but you can cross the street and head south a couple hundred feet to easy beach access. I’ve stayed here before and keep coming back for the location and price. I travel with pets — mine are service dogs — but they are pet-friendly, and the rooms don’t smell bad. The rooms are nice and appear clean, though the floors inside and out are still quite dirty, as you’ll see on your feet or socks. I always ask for an extra shower mat at the door to help limit tracking in dirt. The beds are comfortable, but the pillows are small and disappear like clouds when you lay on them. I’ve stayed in three rooms here — all had clean tub/shower combos. The water pressure is weak, so rinsing takes time, and the towels are a bit rough on sunburned skin. The pool is clean, refreshing, and comfortable, but unheated. Parking is easy in the off-season, tighter during peak. Room 4 has no clothes rod; Room 9 has a large door gap that lets in a lot of road noise. The mini kitchen setup is great — fridge, microwave, burners, sink, and even a hot pot for tea. The office isn’t always staffed, but the staff from their nearby property respond fairly quickly for off-season check-in. I’ll keep coming back, and to be fair, I give feedback to the hotel directly before posting here.
