This historic brick craftsman is just 2 blocks from the 1905 historic downtown: Opera House, the pink Arcade, old Train Depot, Historic City Hall, with shops and businesses. Antiques, crafts, clothing stores, western wear & saddles, restaurants, and a saloon are between the house and McSwain Park, that's 1 block past the Depot, with a splash pad and play ground. See live shows and concerts, visit the Friday farmer's market, side walk venders and do yoga . Special Main Street events pop up often.
The space
This home was completely renovated in 2022. It feels like it did in 1925, but with 21st Century amenities. We're pleased to offer this unique home to DeSoto County guests.
Guest access
Guests are welcome to use the back deck, front porch, outdoor grill/smoker, fire pit, hammock, washer and gas dryer, and the kitchen. However, the attic and storage closet are off limits.
