This recently renovated vacation destination is a rambling four-bedroom, three-bath private home with swimming pool that's perfect for a large or extended family. It sleeps up to 12 guests with no sleeper sofas, and is located on the mainland yet within a 5-7 minute drive to the Sanibel Causeway or an 8-10 minute drive to Estero Island at Fort Myers Beach. Sanibel Island has its beaches famous for sea shells, and Fort Myers Beach with all it's beach activities, the Margaritaville Resort and fast Key West Express boat. This location also puts you in very close proximity to Fort Myers with the Edison, Ford and Firestone winter home museums. RSW International Airport, Bonita Springs, Naples and Marco Island are also within approximately a one-hour drive.Amenities include a swimming pool, foosball in the game room, horseshoes in the back yard, darts on the patio, BBQ grill, ample off-street parking, three-zone central air conditioning, ceiling fans, complimentary WiFi, all linens and towels provided, a private laundry room and a quiet, fenced in, one acre lot for everyone to play on and enjoy.
On arrival entry is through the front door and into the open plan kitchen, living and dining areas. There is beautiful wood flooring throughout. Decor is beachy/contemporary. The large kitchen has plenty of quartz counter space with rectangular stainless-steel sink with disposal and cabinets with all the necessary items to prepare full course meals if so desired. Just bring the food! Appliances are all stainless-steel and include a glass-top range with self-cleaning oven, built-in above-range microwave, dishwasher, Mr. Coffee machine and side-by-side refrigerator/freezer with water and ice dispenser in the freezer door. There is a pass-through to the game room, and a peninsular bar between the kitchen, living and dining area, with cabinets and drawers on the kitchen side and four upholstered high-boy bar seats on the living area side. The adjacent dining area has a table seating eight, which flows nicely into the living area furnished with a sofa and love-seat with corner table and coffee table. Just behind the kitchen through French doors is a game room with large U-shaped sofa with coffee table, game table and two over-stuffed upholstered chairs with cocktail table and a large wall-mounted flat screen TV. This room has a door leading out to the large fenced-in rear yard with an enclosed shower, gas BBQ grill, pool and furnished pool deck.
The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, night stand and lamp, corner rattan recliner, double dresser, large walk-in closet and wall-mounted flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access out to the rear yard and swimming pool. The en suite bathroom has a nicely tiled walk-in shower with glass door and walls, a quartz-top vanity with dual lavatories and storage space beneath, two wall mirrors and a commode. Adjacent to the master bedroom is a hallway laundry area behind accordion doors with full size washer and dryer. Two guest bedrooms are on the master side of the house. The first one has a queen-size bed with corner lamp, ample closet space, and an entertainment armoire with flat screen TV. Sliding glass doors provide access out into the back yard area. The second guest bedroom has two bunk beds with doubles on the bottom and twins on the top, ample closet space, a dresser with flat screen TV and a three-drawer chest. The guest bathroom in this area has a quartz-top vanity with dual lavatories and storage space beneath, two wall mirrors, commode and a nicely tiled combination tub/shower with sliding glass doors. The third guest bedroom is on the other side of the kitchen and living area and has a queen-size bed, corner upholstered chair, shelving with flat screen TV, corner lamp, walk-in closet and a wall credenza. The guest bathroom on this side of the home has a quartz-top vanity with lavatory and storage space beneath, wall-mirror, commode and again a nicely tiled combination tub/shower with sliding glass doors.
