Second Wind is a popular Dauphin Island beach rental with great Gulf views and is just across the 2-lane street from the Gulf of Mexico Beach.
Second Wind has an ideal beach house layout- 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms, a Game Room, a small, private, heated pool, and roof-top Crow's Nest; it's easy to see why this beach house is one of the most popular vacation rentals on Dauphin Island.
This elevated, two-story home has a Master Suite on the first level with a private full bath. There is also a half-bath off the kitchen. The Great Room is large, open, and has a flat-screen TV over the fireplace. The Second Level has three bedrooms, two of which share a Jack and Jill half bathroom with a shower. There is a third full bathroom on this level and a Game Room (great for nighttime or rainy days). The 4th bedroom is a small bunk room just off the Game Room, which is quite small and suitable for children. The rooftop has a "Crow's Nest," which provides panoramic views of the Island. This house is Not Pet-friendly.
Gulf Beach access is 1/8 mile from the end of your driveway!
As with all of our Dauphin Island Beach Rentals, all linens and towels are provided, WIFI, along with a fully-outfitted kitchen. There will be a starter pack of toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags; please plan on bringing more for day 2 ;). A great beach vacation is waiting on you! The pool is heated from October thru April.
House Rules:
1. Minimum Age for the Primary Renter is 25, and Primary Renter must be present for the entire stay.
2. Maximum Occupancy numbers include Children 3 and over and cannot be exceeded at any time.
3. All of our Homes are Non-Smoking.
4. A signed Rental Agreement is Required, which contains additional Rules and Guidance.
5. This property does not allow weddings or parties.
6. Check-in time is 3 pm, and check-out time is 10 am.
7. Start dishes and linens before departure.
8. Take the trash can to the street on Tuesday night and Friday night.
9. This home is Not Pet-Friendly
